Sevier County Electric System is a city-owned, non-profit public utility controlled by a five-member board delivering outstanding service at fair rates. SCES purchases electricity on the basis of a wholesale contract from the Tennessee Valley Authority which offers some of the lowest electricity rates in the country. We are also available 24 hours a day for emergency service by calling (865)453-2887 or in Townsend (865)983-4065.
