Payment Locations
SCES customers may pay their electric bills in the following ways: Bank Draft
Many SCES customers participate in our convenient automatic bank draft plan. Automatic bank draft eliminates monthly check-writing and bill-paying worry. As a bank draft customer, you will receive an electric bill each month as usual. SCES will draft your bank account two days before the due date. All we need is your voided check to begin!

Budget Billing
SCES offers a "Budget Billing" program to residential customers who have been established at current locations for twelve months or longer. Paying a constant electric bill all year long can be very beneficial for anyone on a fixed income or tight budget.

Budget billing customers pay an average amount monthly regardless of the actual cost of the bill. The average amount is based on the past twelve-month billing history. The budget billing cycle runs from April to April. At that time, the billing is reconciled (settle-up time). The customer may then take advantage of any accumulated credit balance or be prepared to "catch-up" on any unpaid usage.

Customers may enroll in this plan during the months of April through July.

Project Help
SCES participates in an emergency assistance program for the needy called Project Help. Customers may contribute money into this help fund each month along with their electric bill. Project Help is independently distributed based on need and circumstances.
